We
will be travelling with Travel Europe on their top of the range Setra coach, which is air suspended with reclining seats,
tinted windows, climate control and webasto heating. There is
a DVD player, toilet and washroom and a hostess service is provided.
On the coach there are only 40 seats instead of the usual 49 thus
providing extra leg room for your comfort. Travel rugs are
also provided for our passengers to use. Smoking is not
permitted on the coach but we do have plenty of comfort breaks.
Accommodation is on a Bed and Breakfast basis, staying at the Lane Rigg Hotel, West View Hotel and Crow Park Hotel, all in the beautiful lakeland town of Keswick.
After breakfast we will travel in the comfort of our own coach on
Saturday and Sunday mornings to our starting point for the day.
The weekend will consist of 2 days organised walks in the Keswick area.
Different levels of walks are arranged, ranging from easy, to
intermediate, to something a little more challenging! The
walks
are arranged and planned by our own experienced guides who travel with
us. At the end of the day our coach will take us back to our hotel
in Keswick.
The area offers stunning scenery and the weekend offers the opportunity to get out into the hills and take in some of the breathtaking views that the Lake District has to offer. For those who prefer to pound the pavements rather than the hills, there is plenty in Keswick to entertain.
